Visionary Spotting Scopes

The V100 high resolution angled scope features BAK4 prisms, rubber armour, full waterproofing and fully coated lenses for a bright and natural colour image. This model comes complete with stay on case (with shoulder strap), has a fold down rubber eyecup and comes with a 10 year manufacturers guarantee.

The 100mm objective lens makes this a very bright and clear scope, even at 75x magnification.

While not really designed for astronomical use, great views of the moon are possible, and looking further, Jupiter appears as a disk with just noticable banding and a few moons could be made out.

Like all of the Visionary spotting scope range, the eyepiece is built in and can not be changed later, this is not really a disadvantage as the zoom covers every magnification normally needed.

Can I come and look at one of these, you seem to be my nearest stockist (although many claim they have them in stock, but wont let you have a look at them), I am in Grantham.

Yes, we have them in stock.

Yes, you can come and have a look through one.

We also have the 60mm and 80mm versions in stock if you want to have a look at them together.

I can not understand why other dealers refuse to let you have a look at them, unless they do not really have them in stock and are ordering them as needed.

Pleased with this scope. Lovely bright sharp image, good price and appears to be solidly built. Thanks

Thank you for your comments.

We think the Visionary V100 scopes have a really good image, a couple of months ago we had a look at Jupiter through one. Whilst certainly not designed for star gazing, we could see several moons and could just make out some banding on the plante itself.

It really is a nice scope.

Thank you for your enquiry.

The Visionary V100 is only available in the standard colour of grey with black bits at front and rear.

We have them in stock, we do not charge any extra for delivery within Great Britain and Northern Ireland, so the price would be as above (currently £275.00).

Can the eyepiece be fitted with a camera T-mount

eebc - Chris.
08/06/2012 15:30:41
Visionary use what is essentially a tube which fits over the eyepiece and screws onto the scope body. A T-mount then fits the other end of the tube.

Visionary have a PDF file which shows how it all works here

The camera adaptor A3 is £39 (without T mount)

Can you advise me if the Visionary V100 takes different eyepieces.Whatis the eye relief. What tripod should I use.
Many thanks B Stuck

The eyepieces on the Visionary V100 (and indeed, all Visionary scopes) are fixed and can not be removed. The 25-75x variable magnification does tend to cover most needs.

The Lander Tripod is a good sturdy tripod to use, although the scope has a standard 1/4" Whitworth thread so will fit on most photographic tripods.

We currently have both the scopes and the tripods in stock, if you want to come and have a look at them, just give us a call (or email) to check stocks before traveling.
