Zeiss Conquest Monoculars, fit unnoticed into the pocket, as with the Pocket Binoculars, lower magnifications are ideal for the theatre whilst the 8/10x are ideal for walking, ornithology, general use etc., but these monoculars are less than half the size of the binoculars. All of the Zeiss Conquest monoculars are coated in smooth rubber, some of these models are exceptionally small and easy to carry and are now supplied with a leather carry pouch. We are currently working on getting the website to show British measurements, something that should be fairly simple became complex when we discovered we are not allowed to show British measurements without showing the european measurements as well. We were going to give website users a choice between British and european, but from what we can gather we are not allowed to do that! |

eebc - Chris 04/10/2008 15:41:12 | The latest model is called Conquest, one of the previous models was called DS (as it was similar to the Design Selection range of binoculars).
Externally, they look the same. I have not seen old and new side-by-side so can not comment about the quality between the two. When the name changed, the soft leather pouch was included rather than an optional extra. |
