Kowa Spotting Scopes

The Kowa TS501 20x is an angled scope that has a FIXED eyepiece (it can not be removed or changed later). The 50mm objective lens make it compact, lightweight and easy to carry. Many people use this scope hand held, although a tripod socket is provided on the bottom of the scope for greater stabilisation.

Please note, although Kowa make these scopes in both blue and grey colours, we can only supply the grey ones as the blue are not imported into the UK

What is the image quality like, I have seen a pair of Tasco 20x50 binoculars, is it as good?

The image quality should be better than the binoculars you looked through.

The Kowa TS500 series telescopes, whilst being 20x50, have much bigger prisms to allow more light to reach the eyepiece. This provides a brighter, sharper and clearer image.
