Privacy Issues

Although we have never been asked to clarify this issue, we feel every internet site that gathers data about its users should tell those users what its doing.

We gather data in several ways:

Firstly is the questionnaire, this only contains your e-mail address/name IF you enter them into the questionnaire. If you don't enter these details then the responses we get are anonymous. UPDATE, due to some abusive/threatening responses (which quite frankly we do not understand! but result from us designing other sites on the internet), the questionnaire will now send the IP address of the sender.

Secondly is a counter provided by TheCounter.com this counter is hidden towards the top of the homepage. It provides us with various data, browser type, screen resolution etc. (most visitors use a version 5 browser, with Internet Explorer being used by about three quarters our visitors.) This enables us to write this web site in a format that the majority of users will be able to use/read easily.

Thirdly, we have web site log files, these contain details of all files (pages, graphics etc) downloaded from our site, together with the IP address of the computer requesting the files.

E-mail Details

As per point one above, the e-mail addresses we receive do NOT leave our system, they are NOT sold or given to any person or organization.

The same applies to e-mail details received as part of an e-mail

If we are e-mailed a postal address, again, this is considered by ourselves as private, it is not sold or given to any other person/organization

Client List

Since this would be a violation of our privacy policy, we do not publish lists of our clients.
